What this site does
An Amsterdam hotel that pins “BOOK ROOM” to the corner of the screen, gives a discount for booking direct, and gives its restaurant, bar, workspace and sauna their own entry points.

Notes
What you see
The first screen is a hand-drawn illustration with the Volks HOTEL logo and nothing else. A boxed “BOOK ROOM” sits in the top-left corner and stays there as you scroll; “MENU” mirrors it on the right. On desktop, a bar at the bottom keeps Rooms, Eat & Drink, Blog / Agenda and Location in view.
Further down: a “GET A ROOM” section, then four venues with their own names — Canvas (restaurant), Doka (underground sound bar), Werkplaats (a place to work and meet) and Badplaats (sauna and hot tubs) — followed by the blog, the agenda and directions. The site offers 7.5% off all rates with a promo code for booking direct, and the footer lists separate phone numbers for the hotel, the restaurant and events.
What to take from it
A booking button that never leaves the screen means nobody has to hunt for it. A discount for booking on the hotel’s own site gives guests a concrete reason not to go through a booking platform.
Naming each venue and giving it its own entry point lets people who are not staying — for dinner, for work, for the sauna — find their way in too.
