What you see
A course trailer plays behind the first screen. The headline cycles through the subject areas — Lifestyle, Food and Drink, Business, Arts and Culture — above "Lessons for Life", with a View Courses button and, right beside it, "Start learning for £34.99 per course". A "Play Trailer" thumbnail sits in the corner.
Courses are grouped into the four areas. Each card gives the teacher's name above the course title, and each area has its own button colour — pink, yellow, mint, lavender — with "New" and "Coming soon" badges. After the courses come six FAQs (how to access and watch a course, becoming a mentor, gift cards), a student quote, "As featured in" logos for The Times, House & Garden and The Scotsman, a newsletter sign-up called The School Report, and the journal. The company describes itself as a small family-run business that works only with small, independent makers.
What to take from it
Price and format are the first two questions for any online course. Answering both on the first screen — a "from" price and a trailer — lets people browse the list already knowing what they are looking at.
Naming the teacher on every card makes "who will I learn from?" part of choosing. And placing the FAQs, a student's words and press logos straight after the course list deals with practical doubts and trust in one stretch, just before people decide.
