Notes
What you see
The first screen is a photograph of the Balinese lobby with only the words "Our Story". "Book Room" and "Book Table" stay on screen throughout — top right on desktop, along the bottom on mobile. On desktop a narrow strip on the left holds the logo, the menu and a WhatsApp link.
"Book Room" opens a panel for arrival and departure dates, adults and children, and "Check Rates" goes on to the hotel's own booking page. "Book Table" opens WhatsApp. The home page then tells the hotel's history in order: four bungalows for friends in 1962, a foundation set up in 1987 that still teaches Balinese dance to local children with performances twice a month, and the Wawo-Runtu family still running the place today.
What to take from it
A place that sells both rooms and meals has two kinds of visitor. Giving each its own button, always visible, means neither has to work out where to go.
Matching the booking method to the task also helps: dates, guests and rates for a room; a quick message for a table. And a history told with dates — who started it, what they still do for the community — says more about the place than a list of facilities.
