What you see
There is no header and almost no body text. On a navy background sit nine salmon-pink tiles: the dojo name (in Japanese and Latin letters), the club, the timetable, what aikido is, children's classes, adult classes, teachers, the head teacher and contact. Each tile is the link to that page. In the timetable tile, "Lundi Mercredi Vendredi" is the biggest text on the tile, followed by 19.30–21.00 and Saturday 9.00–10.30. The federations the club belongs to are listed underneath.
The class pages give the starting age (6 for children, 13 for adults), the training venue for each day and a free trial class. The contact page lists the two venues, a clickable email and phone number, and tells newcomers to bring a kimono or sports clothes and arrive ten minutes early.
What to take from it
For a small club or school, the first question is "when". Putting days and times on the home page, in the largest type, answers it before anyone has to click.
When a site only has a handful of pages, showing every entry point as a tile can be clearer than hiding them behind a menu. Separate pages for children and adults, each with age, place and a free trial, cover what a parent or a new student needs to decide.
