Notes
What you see
The first screen is a colourful cut-paper illustration of leaves and flowers with the company name set large in white. Below it, "We Stop. Insects / Rodents / Birds and More" runs in big type, each word in a different colour, followed by a short mission statement and a description of how a job works: an initial phone call, a visit often on the same day and always within 24 hours if possible, a survey, then treatment and prevention.
A phone icon stays in the bottom-left corner as you scroll. The page ends with the email address and two phone numbers, one for Brighton and one for Worthing. The navigation links to six area pages and thirteen individual pest pages, and the header carries a Checkatrade membership badge.
What to take from it
Pest control is usually presented as grim. A friendly, colourful front makes a slightly embarrassing call feel easier to make, while the practical details — the phone number, the process, how soon someone can come — stay plain and easy to find.
For any call-out service, a call button that never leaves the screen and a stated response time answer the two things an anxious customer wants to know first.
