Editor's note

What this site does

A Trentino winery that shows live vineyard weather on its first screen, quotes a critic's score and rank, and lists its shop and bistro hours in the footer.

What you see

After an age check, the first screen is a slideshow of the winery building and vines with the logo and "Trento DOC". In the bottom corner, a small panel labelled "Moncalisse Vineyard" shows the current temperature, wind speed and humidity.

The page goes on to the founding in 2016, the twelve hectares at 600 metres on Monte Calisio, the work on biodiversity, and a news item: 97 points and 93rd place in James Suckling's Top 100 Wines of Italy 2026. A slider leads to wines, hospitality (tastings, wine shop, bistro), architecture and vineyards. The footer gives the address, the bistro and shop hours (11:30–18:30, closed Wednesday), phone and email.

What to take from it

Live weather from the vineyard makes the place feel real in a way a photograph alone does not — useful for any producer whose product depends on land and season.

Quoting a score and a rank, not just "highly rated", makes an award legible to people who don't know the critic. And putting visiting hours and the closing day in the footer answers the question every visitor has before setting off.
