What you see
The first screen is a video of guides and guests getting ready on a glacier, with one line: "Expert Mountain Adventures Since 1966". Directly below come the numbers — 60+ years guiding in Aoraki, 47,000+ guests guided safely, 15,000,000+ vertical metres climbed — and a note that the guides hold NZMGA/IFMGA qualifications.
Then five featured trips, a map of New Zealand where you tap a region to see its trips, and Google reviews (4.9 from 150). The navigation leads to a short quiz that suggests one of four main mountaineering courses, a gear guide, an FAQ, gift vouchers and a webcam. Each trip page lists level, guide ratio, duration, season and price (NZ$995 for the Tasman Glacier heli-hike) next to a "Book now" button. The footer gives phone, WhatsApp and email, with reservation hours of 8:30 am to 5 pm, seven days.
What to take from it
When people are trusting you with their safety, the first question is "can I trust them?", not "does it look good?". A founding year, a guest count and a qualification answer it before anyone reads a word of sales copy.
The quiz is the other lesson. Beginners stall at "which course is right for me?" — a few questions that point to one option keep them moving toward a booking instead of an email.
