What this site does
An Austrian niche perfumery whose online store pins a seasonal editorial photo on one half of the screen and sells the related products on the other.

What you see
Five shops between Vienna and the Traunsee — two in Vienna, plus Linz, Gmunden and Vöcklabruck. The first screen is a still life of fruit and perfume bottles under the headline "FRUITS OF TEMPTATION", with a button to the editorial.
As you scroll, the editorial's tall photograph stays pinned across half the screen while the products beside it can go straight into the cart from the listing. The site says advice is available online and in store, and a newsletter sign-up comes with a €5 voucher.
What to take from it
An editorial that sits on a separate page tends to become a dead end. Putting the story and the products on the same screen lets the mood turn directly into a choice.
Scent is hard to sell without trying it, so the store adds the human fallback: personal advice, online or in a shop, and a list of where those shops are.
