What you see
The first screen is the name, huge, with an illustration of someone eating a slice, plus small links for recruitment, private hire and social media. Scroll once and four large buttons appear: Livrer (delivery, straight to Deliveroo), À emporter (takeaway), Sur place (eat in) and Shop. Below them run the nine cities — Lille, Bordeaux, Versailles, Paris and the rest.
Each of the fifteen restaurants has its own page with the address, a short story (Belleville is "where it all started"), drinks and the terrace, a signature pizza named after the neighbourhood, and a downloadable menu. The home page also has a merchandise section, a "Wall of love" of customer comments and, in the footer, a loyalty programme. The colour scheme changed between our visits: green when we took the screenshot, teal when we measured.
What to take from it
People arriving at a restaurant site usually already know how they want to eat tonight. Putting those choices first — delivery, takeaway, eat in — saves them hunting.
A group can still feel local. A pizza named after the street, on a page about that street, gives people a reason to choose that particular restaurant. And recruitment and private hire stay one click away without crowding the page.
