Editor's note

What this site does

One opening sentence defines what kind of practice this is, and the projects are left to speak after it.

Notes

What you see

The page opens with a sentence: "Snøhetta is a global transdisciplinary practice, working on projects of all scales." No industry label — the practice defines itself by how it works.

After that come Disciplines, Latest News, Upcoming Events and Highlighted Projects, in that order. Each project arrives as a name plus a single line, as in "Laerdal Medical — New life to the home of the world's leading provider of first aid training gear".

What to take from it

The point is not listing project names on their own. One line of description is enough for a stranger to understand what the work was. Project lists that stop at a building's name leave that work to the reader, and this is the easiest difference to copy.

Putting news and events on the home page also serves as evidence that the practice is still active.
