What you see
A hand-drawn logo sits above a photograph of a low timber house among the oaks. In the top right corner a round brown Réserver button stays on screen as you scroll, on desktop and on mobile, and opens an external booking engine.
The home page tells five short stories — the forest, the house, the rooms, the area and wellbeing — alternating text and photographs. The location is given by distance: 7 km from the Lascaux caves, 20 km from Sarlat, 17 km from Les Eyzies, in a valley listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The rooms page compares the two room types (17 m² with a 160 cm bed, 25 m² with a 180 cm bed), lists the amenities, and gives each type its own "book this room" button. There is a pool, treatments, yoga and bikes. The language switches between French and English.
What to take from it
People fall for a small place while they read about it. If the booking button has scrolled away by then, some of them never come back to it — so keep it visible.
"In the Périgord Noir" means little to someone who has never been. "7 km from Lascaux" lets them plan the trip immediately.
