What this site does
An architecture practice that turns the four letters of its name into how it works: Listen, Plan, Analyze, Shape.

Notes
What you see
Two colours: beige (#E3C1AA) and dark grey. At the top of the page each letter of the name opens out into Listen / Plan / Analyze / Shape, which leads straight into the practice describing itself as process driven.
The way in is by market, not by service. Housing (which branches again into Affordable, Student, Market Rate and Senior), Interiors, Higher Education, Civic and Commercial appear in that order. The two office cities, Sacramento and Oakland, are named near the top as well.
What to take from it
Instead of promising care and client focus in the abstract, the practice uses its own letters to define a four-word method. It is easy to remember and it carries over into a pitch document unchanged.
Entry by market works, too. People arriving at an architecture practice want to know whether it has done their kind of project, so a list of project types reaches that answer faster than a portfolio does.
