What this site does
A Barcelona supplier to the hospitality trade that makes its founding year part of the logo and separates rental from sales from the start.

What you see
The top of the page is the logo across the full width: "CASA GAY" over "1893". Under it the navigation starts with Alquiler (rental) and Venta (sales), followed by catalogues, about and contact. The opening slider presents hospitality equipment and event rental, and the spring–summer catalogue magazine.
The home page goes on to the company's history — it began as a furniture rental service in Barcelona at the end of the nineteenth century — and its historical archive, the two entry points for rental and sales, catalogues, featured products with item codes and a line on what each is for, news, the shop, and separate phone numbers, hours and addresses for the shop, the offices and the rental warehouse.
What to take from it
If your founding year is old, make it part of the identity rather than a footnote.
Customers who want to hire and customers who want to buy are looking for different things; giving each its own door on the first screen saves them both time. Item codes and a note on use make it easier for trade customers to ask for a quote, and listing each site's contact details separately keeps people from calling or driving to the wrong place.
