What you see
A video of a hand grinder fills the first screen, with "23° MONORIGINE" set across its full width and three words: seasonal, spontaneous, traceable. The range belongs to Caffè Cartapani, and the site explains the name: 23 is the tilt of the Earth's axis, the reason seasons exist.
Eleven origins follow, numbered — Ethiopia, Peru, Indonesia, Costa Rica and on to El Salvador — each with options for beans, moka, espresso and filter. The newest, Ethiopia, is marked "disponibile" and has a "request information" button that opens an email with the product name already in the subject line. An FAQ of six questions covers what seasonality means for baristas and for consumers, and how a new origin is found. The page ends with the company's history since 1951. There is no online shop.
What to take from it
If your products change with the harvest, say so first and make it the point. Customers who were promised rotation look forward to the next lot instead of complaining that the last one is gone.
For a supplier, the FAQ is where the sale happens: it answers what a café owner would ask before buying. And an enquiry email that already names the product saves a round of "which one did you mean?".
